Verano M. Hermida, M.D.
Verano M. Hermida, MD, PA is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and Board Certified Medical Examiner with special training in pediatric and adult orthopaedics, trauma, reconstructive surgery, and sports medicine. He received his Medical Degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his general surgery internship at Episcopal, a Temple University Hospital affiliate, and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Temple University, nationally recognized for its excellent program in sports medicine.
Dr. Hermida is a Fellow of the Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate for the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Broward County Orthopaedic Society, Broward County Medical Society, and Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Hermida is a former team physician for high school and university football teams. He speaks fluent Spanish.
